We are providing an insight to follow up on the project process and to clarify what a work package means in Erasmus+ KA2 projects.
In Erasmus+ KA2 projects, a work package refers to a structured set of activities focused on achieving specific project objectives. Each work package outlines tasks, responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring smooth coordination and measurable progress.
This insight aims to keep all partners informed and aligned with the project's development. More updates will follow as we progress through the next stages.
To keep you up to date, we have created a timeline so you can follow the process and track the project's progress.

Workpackage 1
Lead: IES Javier García Téllez
Project management
  • Project Management ensures timely progress, budget use, and deadline compliance. The project coordinator is in charge of overseeing the task management and overall project development. Transnational partner Meetings and bi-monthly online meetings track progress at all levels.
Workpackage 2
Lead: EOLAS
ESCAPE Stories
  • This package enabled the creation of the ESCAPE storyboards and stories, forming the foundation for the escape room methodology. It develops personas representing healthcare professionals handling sensitive data, maps cybersecurity and data privacy risks, and designs engaging narratives to high light real-world challenges. Research on healthcare profiles, cybersecurity cases, and expert insights ensure relevance. The final stories connect emotionally with healthcare workers, emphasizing the impact of cybersecurity on patient care and institutional reputation.
Workpackage 3
Lead: JGT
ESCAPE Rooms

The ESCAPE Rooms bring the ESCAPE stories to life by designing interactive escape rooms that simulate real-life cybersecurity and data privacy threats. These rooms raise awareness and provide hands-on experience in preventing and mitigating cyberattacks and data breaches in healthcare. Challenges, puzzles, and learning materials are developed based on the latter created personas and scenarios. The content is structured for easy access and integrated into a web platform, ensuring usability across multiple devices. The final ESCAPE rooms are tested with target users to enhance engagement and effectiveness.

Workpackage 4
Lead: FIRDA
ESCAPE Trainings
  • Finally the workpackage four develops and validates an online Teacher Training program to equip healthcare VET teachers and trainers with the skills to use and create ESCAPE rooms. The training covers integrating ESCAPE rooms into teaching, adapting existing content, and designing new scenarios based on the ESCAPE methodology. It includes learning materials, assessment guidelines, and self-reflective assignments to support effective implementation. Special focus is given to leveraging existing educational tools and resources. The training is tested to ensure alignment with educators' needs, promoting wider adoption and impact.
