The I.E.S. Javier García Téllez is a
public high school center, last year he was awarded the honor plaque of Alfonso X El Sabio.
In the center teaching ESO, VET and HNC, for this we have 108 teachers and around 1300 students, of which 200 students are from ESO, 500 alumnos are from VET and 600 students are from HNC

It is one of the centres of reference in the region when it comes to the uptake of innovative learning methods and approaches. For instance it is leading CLIVE, a project on creativity techniques for VET teachers and is participating in DE-THINK on the uptake of design thinking in entrepreneurship education and DIGISTUDENT on attending students with learning barriers. It has participated in Young Social Makers on maker skills and VIrgin 4.0 on game based learning.
Within the area of health and care iit has been a partner in First AID worldwide with the aim to elaborate didactic guides to improve the teaching of First Aid. In our case, the research is based on finding the best CPR dummy for the training of Emergency personnel.

Founded in 1814, the Turin Institution for the Deaf is an institution providing a wide range of services and activities, for deaf, hard of hearing and other linguistic and cognitive impaired children and adults, such as:
– Vocational training and vocational guidance for young deaf (cooking and gardening), blind, autistic and other disabled adult students;
– Adult education for deaf and hard of hearing (blind and Specific Language impairment);
– Home housing for deaf adults;
– Speech therapy and SLI programs;
– Kindergarten for Deaf and hearing children (with national ID as formal school);
– Recognized National Provider of training for teachers; other training activities for speech therapists, nurses, educators and other professionals
– Providing special need teachers and educators service in mainstream schools supporting students in collaboration with the local social services and school authorities;

The Institute of the Deaf of Turin is a non-profit foundation, governed by a Foundation Council totally autonomous in the choice of direction of the activities, within the scope of social solidarity provided for by the current Statute. The institution is located in the north-west of Italy and operates at a regional and national level about services and at international level for special projects. The Institution has 120 workers. The Turin Institute for the Deaf manages two residential services: The “La Casa dei Decibel” with a continuous presence of professional educators and socio-health workers to conduct the activities and accompany the users in their life path within the structure. It a socio-medical residential facility for the disabled. Soprá house: a small social housing, which temporarily hosts deaf and hearing people, united by the need to have a home for a certain period of their life and who intend to share a path of mutual knowledge and exchange.based on the concept of guided coexistence in an educational and cognitive-emotional perspective that occupies a central role in the development of autonomy processes within the psycho-social process.

BBS

Training diversity is very important at the vocational schools (BBS) in Nienburg. With seven departments under one roof, the BBS offer all the usual educational opportunities for vocational training. The vocational schools offer other school types in addition to the vocational school (vocational training in the dual system). These include the vocational schools (one-year or several years), the one-year or several-year technical schools, the technical and business technical colleges and the vocational grammar school with different focal points.
The vocational training centre „BBS Nienburg “ educates about 2.700 students in a various number of professions for social and health care, for trade, industry, for commercial and administration activities, for body care, electrician, IT services, for nutrition, agriculture and home economics. The school also offers higher education entrance qualification. The school gained experiences in the field of transnational projects since 2005. The school is interested in developing the internationalisation of vocational education and training. Furthermore the school is interested in developing the international profile of the institute as well as the international competence of the staff in order to handle the NQF and the EQF together with the partners from the dual system. 170 staffs are working at the BBS Nienburg.
The BBS Nienburg has worked with a lot of partners in many mobility (VETstaff and student) projects, partnerships and EU Network projects. We work with partners all over Europe as well as sending, receiving and intermediate partners. In the department of social education, care and cooperation projects, trainees are taught in the dual system and students in various full-time courses, such as in the field social assistante; nursing or nursing assistant. The students has to train 2 years. They get teached in our school and they go for 24 weeks in the hospital next to our school. The hospital is a partner from our school. The hospital gots their own school to educate their own nurses. They also can work in an old people home.
We also offer our students the technical college heath care. The main goals are medical and economic areas. This students has also go for practice in in old people home or hospital in the first year. After the secound year they are able to study on an university.
